The alloys isn't disabled by default, not completely. You have to use the silent gear alloy machine to form the allow ingots. You can make some really powerful stuff with the endgame silent's materials. Though, I haven't touched the mod yet on ATM, so I don't know about the other mats yet. This is what I did though: You grade every piece of ingredient to MAX. You Tier 3 star charge every piece of ingredient. Make the parts. Combine the parts.Tools = Mekatool, combines multiple tools in one. Armor = Mekasuit, makes you nearly invincible as long as you have power. Weapon = either Morgan or a axe with the percentage dmg. Note that you cannot remove gems once inserted, and are stuck with them. Just dropping iron armor into a smithing table and a gem doesn't work.

My only regreat for using meka gear in ATM 8 is to never need to touch silent gear.
