Yes, you are losing the healing, but get Blood Tribute and Dragonmark of passage for teleport hotkey. Also human has some sweet Healing amp. The healing from Aasimar is quite limited by charges and while Blood Tribute dont have as high potential as Healing Hands, its instant 150 and you can use it much more times.

Hardcore seasons in general change how we play the game, we HAVE to be more mindful as we play, we actually care about the random gen loot, we stick together more as parties and actually fulfill roles instead of solo steamrolling. What you want for hardcore is survivability even if that means not maxing your main stat at char creation and level ups. Similarly, when picking enhancements, look for stuff that provides HP, PRR, MRR, dodge, AR, saves etc over what you would normally pick. Even feats are nice such as toughness.
