lifesteal isn't the problem, omnivamp is the problem. many, many years ago, back when Rengar and Kha came out and Rengar's Q was an ability not an auto mod, there was no such thing as an AD spellvamp item, there was only lifesteal (autos only) and spell vamp (abilities only, not autos). the only source of spellvamp was on will of the ancients (old AP item) and on hextech gunblade.
