That makes switching the TBI to carb a lot simpler. Mount the new regulator and bump the pressure to 13 psi. You won't be able to go much higher because stock pumps generally can't generate more than 14 or 15 psi. Look at an EVO, Eclipse, etc, making 500-700 on 8mm lines. Now crank the pressure upto 80psi and they'll be more than large enough. Run the stock pump (or higher pressure) to you're regulator and then run a 3/8-1/2 line from the regulator to your carb - no problem IMO. you need to either get a lower pressure in tank pump, a regulator to knock the pressure down to 6 psi, or get rid of the in tank pump and run a mechanical pump. then you need to get an older HEI distributor. this will render the computer irrelevant, so all that wiring can then be taken out- which really opens up the engine bay.
